Wall mounted folding clothing rack
Keep your wardrobe wrinkle-free
This wall-mounted rack is designed for those who value both order and aesthetic. My custom racks are meticulously built from solid white oak, offering a durable and sophisticated alternative to standard closet storage. This rack keeps your pants visible, wrinkle-free, and easily accessible. It’s more than a closet organizer; it’s a refined wooden accent that brings intentionality to your daily routine.
- Space-saving design: The ten arms swing 180 degrees and fold flat when not in use.
- Premium materials: Solid white oak with a protective, natural shellac to highlight its honeyed tones.
- Garment care: Keeps clothing perfectly draped yet easy accessible to prevent creases and maintain shape.
- Wall mounted: Hidden threaded rod and one-inch thick frame allows it to be disassembled and mounted to studs.
My version is not disposable furniture. Constructed with enduring pinned mortise and tenon joinery, it is a piece that will be used for decades.

Here is what makes my wall mounted clothing rack unique
Sturdy construction: The frame is 1 inch think with housed mortise and tenon top and bottom brackets. Further I mortise and pin each arm in place. This is to guarantee that the 16 inch arms stay at 90 degrees to the floor while holding even the heaviest garments.
Wall mounted: Hidden threaded rod allows it to be disassembled so it can be securely mounted to a wall stud.
Foldable design: Arms swing 180 degrees on heavy duty hardware to last for decades.
Details and specifications
Sizes: Ten arms version shown is 35 inches tall. The back is a generous 3 1/2 inches wide. Each tapered arm is 16 inches long.
Materials: White oak, ash, and black walnut.
All natural finish: No VOC shellac and hard wax finish.
How to easily mount my rack to the wall
I designed this clothing rack to be disassembled to access the hidden mounting holes. Bottom of rack should be about 36 to 48 inches off the floor. This puts the top of the rack 6-7 feet from the floor.

I designed my clothing rack to keep your clothing neat and wrinkle free. It can be firmly mounted to a wall stud, and the arms added by inserting the half-inch threaded rod.

Insert the last arm without a washer at the top. This makes it easier to align the rod and insert it through the top hole.
